yay, i'm soooooo excited!
there's alpha bbq today, and there are FORTY people coming! woohoooo!
and guess what guess what guess what! jocelyn and jasmine are coming! yayyyyyyy!
please talk to my friends, friends! they are really nice people. make them come for service tomorrow. hahaha. yay!

and my term exams are over! yay, double happy! poor joy still has music though haha.
and i might pass everything! yay, happy happy happy!
and nadia and joses are finally back haha
and aiwee is coming back tomorrow!!!!!

aaaaahhhhhhhhh!! i'm so happy and excited. and i'm going to meet chyi wei soooon. haha, i am so happy, i can't wait to see all my friends, especially nadia and aiwee :D

spent the past two hours trying to click the correct answer for my online chinese assignment. don't ask me how many times i had to redo it to get them all correct. yeah, like 12 times! :(

so anyway, boys and girls, let me give you a good advice: Last minute studying does not workk! at least not for JC anyway. booooooo. so that's why i've been MIA this june holidays! trying to catch up on my studies. haha! well not really. i've been swimming alot with my sister. she has holidays now too. she just finished her first year in university. so now i have a cool tan, and i injured my back. haha! don't ask me how, cos it's seriously stupid.

yay, i can't wait for tomorrow, because there's alpha, and there's culture the day after, and sunday service the next next day, and ian's coming out of the army tomorrow, and it means i'm one day closer to my end of exams(which haven't even started yet for that matter, but who cares?), and it's one day closer to nadia and joses's return to sunny singapore, AND AIWEE IS COMING BACK TO SINGAPORE KSDJAKDKWEAJDK! :D

okay, it's already friday and i haven't even done my night devotions for thursday yet. boooooo.

yay! i suddenly found this photo again, and i like it :D
haha, look at junhao acting cute.
and benjamin's contorted face. at least i think it's him. haha.
culture is making my mom happy, really! she was so interested in the youth conference and stuff, she didn't even scold me for spending too much time at the conference (9am-5pm) and not studying (which i do, when i come home every night).
yay! i am happy ! thank God thank God thank God! thank you Jesus, i love you :D

We lose Jesus through presumption.


presumption is taking for granted that something exists.


worship is not about you getting anything, it's about you giving back.


don't measure how strong your relationship with Jesus is with a prop, e.g. the way you get to serve in church, how your leaders in church have been treating you recently etc.

only you truly know whether you lost Jesus.


keep the main thing, the main thing.

during worship, are you more concerned about trying to look and show that you're passionate and connected with God, more concerned about singing in tune, or are you there to truly praise him?

staying in a constant state of prayer is more important than telling others what they're doing wrong.


that's what really spoke to me during the first day of the youth conference. (:

especially measuring your relationship with God with props. that's what i'm often guilty of. oops, haha. but not anymore, amen?

most of them are from Ps Glyn Barret (spelling from Brian), haha.

just a little something for those dudes in culture who missed the conference on the first day or the whole thing (:
